We all know that starting the day right is very important. Having a good start to the day can make a positive different on the rest of the day as well. This “Start the Day Right!” program essentially means that at the start of the school day students will be given a choice as to how you would like to start the day in relation to the Good Morning Greetings. This program includes the following six options:

This program will be a great way to build a sense of classroom community, unity, build rapport and a sense of connection with each other. To introduce this program into the classroom a student letter has been written explaining and introducing the program to students. There are visuals for each option included and you simply put the visuals on the wall and as you walk into the classroom students can choose which option they would like to use.

This is a great self-reflection workbook that can be utilized in its entirety or as separate activity worksheets. There is a total of 16 pages which encourages self reflection around the students level of anxiety level and introduces the concept of concurrent emotions (i.e.: that one emotion can exist with others).

Giving and Accepting compliments are a great social skill required for life! And even as teachers and staff, giving and accepting compliments is important to developing a strong, co-hesive, unified team environment. Look no further because this Teacher Compliment Journal (pass it forward) project is great for doing just that!
How does this program work? Included is pages where all the staffs names are included. COUNSELLING AND THERAPY RESOURCE – 2 WEEK PROGRAM (RELATIONAL ACTIVITIES) - BUILDING PARENT CHILD BOND & ATTACHMENT - HOMEWORK FOR PARENTS
Your time is your best investment you can make in your children…With that said, these are two weeks of daily activities to help build and strengthen the bond and attachment between parents and children. This can be done with any gender parent or child.
This homework is for the parents, not the children. How does this work? Simply print out the two week calendars and put them somewhere safe. Every day read through the activity scheduled for that day and look for an opportunity to complete that activity. These are great activities if you or your child are feeling a little detached and not feeling as attuned as you would like to be.
Remember to embrace your child’s unique qualities, hug them everyday and take the relax and enjoy the moments and memories with them. The moments do not last, but the memories will.

By having children utilize these cards with others, an equal opportunity exists for role modelling, education and learning from others appropriate responses to the questions. These printable cards help children to be able to identify their feelings and emotions. Supporting Children to isolate their feelings and emotions and getting them to attribute them to the source can be very difficult. Sometimes a little bit of extra support is needed to help build emotional literacy and development.
